A Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) is an electronic device that controls the speed and torque of an AC motor by adjusting the frequency and voltage of the power supplied to the motor.
It is also known as Adjustable Speed Drive (ASD) or AC Drive.

A good thumb rule for circuit breaker selection (for LV distribution, up to 1 kV systems) is:
Breaker rating ≥ 125% of the full load current (FLC) of the circuit.
For example, if your connected load current is 100 A, choose at least a 125 A breaker.
This accounts for continuous operation and some margin.
Short-circuit capacity ≥ prospective fault current at the point of installation.
Check the available fault level (kA) at the panel and select a breaker with equal or higher breaking capacity.
Coordination with cable size:
Breaker rating must be less than or equal to the cable’s current carrying capacity (ampacity) to ensure cable protection.
Example: If cable ampacity is 150 A, breaker can be 125 A (not 200 A).
For Motors (DOL/Star-Delta):
Breaker rating ≈ 1.25 × FLC
Use motor protection circuit breakers (MPCB) or MCCBs with adjustable trip.
For Lighting/General Circuits:
MCBs are commonly sized at 6A, 10A, 16A, 20A, 32A, etc., based on load current + 25% margin.

The photo on the left is from 2012 — I weighed 107 kg. On the right, a leaner version of me in 2023 at 87 kg.
This journey wasn’t easy. It demanded a complete lifestyle shift, rigorous workouts and a lot of patience.
I sought professional help, but initially, it felt like too much — overwhelming routines, slow progress and constant temptation to quit.
But I didn’t.
Because real change — lasting change — takes time, consistency and commitment.
Eventually, what felt like a struggle became second nature. Today, I can’t imagine going back. The discipline that helped me shed 20kg has reshaped my life.

Each year billions of dollars are lost due to unsafe food, which eventually goes to waste. According to WWF, about 6%-8% of all human-caused greenhouse gas emissions could be reduced if we stop wasting food^. Stringent fly management, including the use of flying insect control systems, can help eliminate one of the significant sources of food contamination.
Fly Monitoring and Infestation Reduction
While most food manufacturing facilities use some control techniques for the reduction of filth flies, there has been less success in developing a numeric assessment of the level of monitoring and control of flying insects.
However, glue board-based insect light traps, which are already in widespread use in the food handling industry, can provide this numeric assessment. They are one of the most acceptable fly control solutions for use within a food handling facility and contribute successfully to reducing or eliminating the food contamination potential.

It was specifically designed to meet the various food safety regulations through well-established scientific methods.
